Something not working, or a question the app does not answer? Write and a real person will reply. This is a small project, not a support desk.

Telling us your device and iOS version helps. If something looks wrong on screen, a screenshot helps more than a description.

Everyday questions

How do I change the time of the morning reminder?

Open the Profile tab and use the reminder settings at the top. The default is 8:00 in the morning. You can move it or turn it off entirely — nothing nags you if you do.

Why does the prayer stop and go quiet in the middle?

That pause is deliberate, and it is the most important part. Reading words about God is not yet praying to God; the silence is where one becomes the other. Stay in it. The app is not stuck and you do not need to tap anything.

Why do the lines appear one at a time instead of all at once?

Because eyes move faster than hearts. A wall of text gets skimmed. A line at a time gets prayed.

I missed a few days. Have I lost anything?

No. There are no streaks here, and there never will be. Nothing counts how often you come, nothing is broken by missing a day, and the app will not mention it. Open it whenever you open it.

Does it work without a signal?

The prayers, the saints and the silence are all on your phone and work with no connection at all. The day's painting is downloaded rather than bundled, so a day whose artwork has not arrived yet shows a plain gold frame instead. The prayer itself never waits on the network.

How do I add the widget?

Touch and hold an empty part of your Home Screen, tap Edit → Add Widget, search for Saintly Daily, and choose a size. It also works on the Lock Screen.

Which languages does it speak?

English is the source and the most complete. The saints and prayers are also carried in Vietnamese, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, Polish, German, Filipino and Korean. Change it under Profile → Language. Scripture stays in English for now: we would rather show an English verse with its citation than a machine-translated Bible.

The communion globe

What happens to an intention I post?

It becomes public. Once approved it appears on the globe, on this website, and as a page anyone can open — with the words you wrote, your display name, the city you chose and the time. Please read the privacy page before you post, and write only what you would be content for a stranger to read.

Can I take one back?

Yes. Email us with roughly when you posted and which city you chose, and we will find it and delete it.

Something on the globe should not be there.

Tap the intention and use Report. It goes to a person, not a machine. You will not hear back about the outcome, which is deliberate.

Do I need an account?

Not to pray. An anonymous identifier is created the first time you post or say you prayed for someone. It has no email and no password, and it is not your Apple ID.

Paying, and not paying

What costs money?

Today's prayer is free and stays free — charging for three quiet minutes would be charging for prayer. On the first time you open the app on a Sunday, once a week, you will be shown an invitation to support the work. Dismissing it takes nothing away.

What does supporting it pay for?

Serving a painting a day, keeping the daily content and the globe running, and the time to keep writing it. It is a subscription of $9.99 a year, or the same in your currency.

How do I restore a purchase on a new phone?

Open the app on a Sunday, or wait for the invitation to appear, and use Restore on that screen. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID, so signing in with the same one is all that is needed. If it will not come back, email us.

How do I cancel?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. Open Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone and cancel there. It keeps working until the paid year runs out.

Your data

How do I delete everything you hold?

Email hello@clusti.app and ask. We will delete the intentions you have published and the anonymous identifier behind them. Deleting the app removes everything held on the phone itself.

Is anything about my praying sent anywhere?

No. How often you pray, whether you prayed today and what you asked for are not sent to us or to anyone else. The privacy page sets out exactly what is and is not collected.
